Flying into the Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) is easy. During the Spring, several airlines fly to the Dubrovnik Airport, which is just 15.5 km (9.5 mi) from the Dubrovnik city center. In May 2010 a new terminal opened at Dubrovnik Airport stretching over 13,700 square metres. It has the capacity to handle two million passengers per year.

There is an international bus service from Trieste in Italy, which takes about 12 hours, and is run by Autotrans.

There is also an international ferry service from Bari that runs from mid April to late October (with a higher frequency in summer) that is operated by Jadrolinija.
